I take pleasure in supporting local farms which is why I'll drive 30+ minutes to Jollisant farm. On my 3 third visit, I finally had the misfortune of meeting Mrs. Jollisant, a grumpy rude old git who couldn't careless if anyone was there to buy almost $100 worth of pumpkins or not! As I hauled a wagon full of pumpkins and went to pay, I called out "HELLO" with no reply, all the while she sat behind the counter saying nothing until I heard her talk to her grandchild (I'm assuming it's her grandchild) It was a flipping hot ass day and I'm dripping in sweat. Her sad credit card device didn't work so I paid in cash.. At the very least I would appreciate a "Thank You!!" after paying. I'll find another nice farm to support.
